An OnlyFans agency is worth it when it raises your net enough to cover its share, or gives back hours you value more than the difference. Stay solo while you enjoy the inbox and income is still climbing. Look for help when messages eat your week or growth has stalled for months.

The break-even number

This is the figure nobody selling management shows you: how far your net has to rise before you take home what you earn alone today. The table uses our own rates, so you can see the honest version. Swap in any agency's rate and the method holds.

Net needed to keep what you take home alone today
Your net todayFull management: new netRise neededChatting only: new netRise needed
$3,000$6,000+100%$5,000+67%
$5,000$9,700+94%$8,300+66%
$8,000$14,700+84%$12,600+57%
$12,000$20,400+70%$18,100+51%
$20,000$31,700+59%$28,700+44%

Those are big rises at lower incomes, and that's the honest shape of a commission. At 50% of your first $8,000, any agency needs to nearly double a smaller page before the money alone adds up. Our rate drops as you grow, so the required rise shrinks a little on bigger pages.

A team can only beat these numbers by selling what you aren't selling today: fans who go quiet, messages you never send, paid content sitting in your vault, traffic you've no time to build. That's the real question to ask about your page.

The price of your hours

Money is half the sum. Add up the hours you spend on messages, posting and planning, then work out what each hour costs you to get back. If your take-home falls slightly and you regain 60 hours a month, divide the loss by those hours. That number tells you whether the trade makes sense for you.

An illustration, not a forecast
ItemFigure
Your net today, alone$8,000
Net with a team, as an example$12,000
You keep after our full management share$6,400
Change in your take-home each month-$1,600
Hours back each month, as an example60
What each free hour costs you$26.67

In that example you're paying about $27 an hour to stop working those hours. Could you shoot more, rest, or earn more elsewhere in that time? If yes, it's a good deal even before growth. If those hours are ones you love, keep them. Run it with your own numbers on our calculator.

Five signs you should stay solo

  • You enjoy the chat and your fans can tell.
  • Income has grown for three months in a row without new stress.
  • You have time to post and test prices.
  • You don't want anyone in your inbox, however good the terms.
  • Your page is so small that a share of it won't pay for anyone's time.

Five signs you're ready

  • Same number, three months running.
  • Messages go unanswered, and you know that's lost money.
  • You've stopped sending PPV because you're tired.
  • You've got content sitting in the vault that nobody's ever been sold.
  • You skipped something in your life to clear the inbox this week.

The third option: hire your own help

Some creators skip agencies and build a small team. You keep control and pay for tasks, not a share. The market rate for outsourced chat is 20% to 50% of sales, or about €800 to €2,000 per model per month, according to one software vendor's guide. Add a chat tool, and your time as the manager.

It suits a creator who likes running people. It suits you less if the whole point was fewer things to think about, or if traffic is what's missing, because chat help alone doesn't fix that. On a Pink Room page, AI handles the writing and the sending from the guide you approve, checked by our team, and you can buy chatting only if that's all you need.

If you do hire, keep it reversible

The safest decision is one you can undo. Keep your login, your email and your payouts in your name, since OnlyFans' Terms make you responsible whoever helps you. Agree on a short notice period. Reporting from Rolling Stone shows what happens when any of those are missing.

With us it's nothing upfront, OnlyFans pays you directly, we invoice after you've been paid, and you can leave with 30 days' notice. Not sure yet? Ask for the free audit when you apply. You'll get in writing the changes we'd make first, and you can use them with or without us.
